Shot this one with my phone, protestors march the streets of downtown San Diego with a police escort. Broadway was the route for the world wide march against Monsanto. I was smart enough to bring my camera with me and shot the remainder of a black and white roll and a few in color.
Just got two rolls of film back, it’s apparent that I haven’t been shooting much. Some images are underexposed, others aren’t tack sharp. Just goes to show consistency is key. What few images I like from the rolls will be up soon.

Losing Battles for a trick. 100 degree weather, no shade, the roughest ground and jankiest transition, pushing against the wind.

You’re my only hope.
These images are what fill Fall Down Hard Vol.1, my first photozine, 35mm color and black and white film photography. The zine came about when I went on a trip to new york, I brought all my camera gear, but ended up canvasing the city with a 35mm slr and a few rolls of film. Not too sure what to do with my finished rolls of film after processing, I decided to try making a zine. This is the fruit of my labor.
